Jardin Public, Soultanieh (Soultanieh.org)-- Soultanieh.org wishes Soultanieh's Jam3ieh a happy 68th Bday. What a Bday it was.
On Saturday August 6th 2005, Soultanieh was packed with people "bumping into each other!" a Soultaniehman described the scene. Some people were hanging out at the square, while the rest who are the majority, marched to the Jardin Public where the Jam3ieh was celebrating its 68th birthday.
The aged men of the village (about 5 of them)danced the dabkeh, "that was the most fun part of the celebration" Attendees mentioned.
A week before the celebration, salesmen were selling "Tonboulas" in other word "tickets". Soultanieh.org reporter, just like many others, stole some of them, but bought one, and didn't win anything.
Until now, noone knows who won the big prize, a trip to the gulf, and a trip to Tunisia. There were many other gifts such as: Vaccum, Iron Machine, water fountain, etc...
People were waiting for the dabkeh right after the celebration, and off course, we all know how each party ends in Soultanieh.
