Mohamed Fakhreddine says, By the way, sorry the paragraphs didn't work out right. I think there were a few extra when you pasted it. 31 weeks ago Mohamed Fakhreddine says, Malakeh, thanks for sharing your beautiful poem. 31 weeks ago Malakeh says, Ok the paragraphs still don't show but I suppose it'll have to do,,wherever it has a capital letter it means the beginning of a new line. 31 weeks ago Malakeh says, A breeze
Ancient as the moon
Sits by the fire, lingers and waits for you.
A scent of Heaven, encrypted in the walls
Who does not miss you?
A mother’s yearning eyes
Her night song and arms
Here you lived and here you will live
Forevermore.
Thinking of her wound
Neptune dying of thirst
And the earth
Awake
By the kiss wounds of the sun.
Her songs inside her
Like a thousand pearls
Laid before the eyes
As you laid your life for me.
Youth nor age distracted them
Your smiling faces
Beam in God’s light
A mercy and Proud
That this earth should be your honourable shroud.
